The Road to Copenhagen is a unique initiative which allows YOU to contribute to the UN negotiating process that we very much hope will result in a new, international climate change agreement for the post-2012 period to be agreed in Copenhagen in 2009. This initiative is jointly chaired by Margot Wallström, current Vice President of the European Commission and former Environment Commissioner, Gro Harlem Brundtland, former Prime Minister of Norway, current UN Special Envoy on Climate Change and member of the Club of Madrid’s Global Leadership for Climate Action (GLCA); and Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland, Vice President of the Club of Madrid and member of the GLCA.
